The WOW Mobile is open to any resident of Miami-Dade County and their animals. At the WOW Mobile, your pet can receive basic medical care such as physical exams, wellness vaccines and boosters, flea/tick prevention, ear cleaning, nail trimming and referrals for spay/neuter surgery or other needed medical services if available.
FoMA supports organizations like Wings of Rescue, Humane Society of Greater Miami, Animal Haven and other no-kill shelters and collaborates with organizations like United Way of Greater Miami, Apple and other groups to save and improve the lives of homeless pets.
By supporting efforts and organizations that provide spay/neuter and trap/neuter/return services, FoMA helps reduce pet overpopulation in Miami-Dade County. Through education, advocacy and financial support, we decrease the number of homeless animals and high demand at our high-intake shelter and in our community. Every day in Miami-Dade County, a significant number of pets are either surrendered to animal shelters or left to roam the streets. FoMA is dedicated to offering pet families the necessary resources to assist them in keeping their pets in a loving home.
A vital part of our work is helping to educate pet owners on responsible pet ownership, and making residents of Miami-Dade aware of not only the systemic problems pets are facing, but how to get involved to help.
